Teenieping characters have become incredibly popular among young children in Korea over the past few years. My child has also become a big fan of these colorful fairy characters, and we’ve slowly collected many Teenieping toys at home. Today I’m introducing some of the most popular Teenieping characters using the toys we have, including fan favorites like Heartsping, Dianaping, and Auroraping.
How We First Discovered Teenieping
I had heard about the popular Korean animation Catch! Teenieping for a while, but my child was still very young back then and didn’t show much interest in it.
Our interest in Teenieping actually started near the end of Season 4, “Dessert Catch! Teenieping.”
Now the show is already in Season 6, which means my child has been a Teenieping fan for almost three years. During that time we collected many toys — and of course lost quite a few as well.
Today I wanted to introduce some of the most popular Teenieping characters using the toys we have at home.
What Are Teeniepings?
Each Teenieping has its own special ability, just like their names suggest.
However, these abilities are not always perfect from a human perspective. In their own magical village their powers would probably shine, but in the human world they often become little troublemakers.
In each season, the Teeniepings end up scattered around Romi’s town, and the main character Romi transforms with the Royal Teeniepings to catch them and bring them back.
This is the main storyline of the series and one of the reasons kids enjoy watching it so much.

Dianaping – One of the Most Popular Teeniepings
One of the most popular characters these days is Dianaping.
She appears together with Eclipseping as twins, and their popularity is currently very strong among kids.
When I first saw the toy version, I was honestly surprised by the huge crown on her head. But the design is so beautiful that she quickly became one of the most loved Teeniepings.
Auroraping – The Star of the Previous Season
Auroraping was probably the most popular Teenieping in the previous season.
It was the first time we saw a Teenieping with wings and such beautiful colors, and the toy was actually difficult to find because it was sold out in many places.
Auroraping also has a touching story involving Princeping, which made many children like her even more.
Heartsping – Romi’s Loyal Partner
Heartsping is the love-themed Teenieping and also the main partner of Romi, the protagonist of the series.
She appears in every season together with Romi, so she is one of the most recognizable characters in the Teenieping world.
In the newest Princess Teenieping season, the Royal Teeniepings include PponyPing, Areumping, and Sappeunping.
Among them, Sappeunping is actually my child’s favorite — probably because she has long flowing hair, which many kids seem to love.
Chorongping(Starryping) – Another Fan Favorite
Chorongping(Starryping) was also very popular in the previous season.
One of the most charming details about this character is the little star decoration on her head, which makes the design especially cute.
Why Teenieping Keeps Getting More Popular
With every new season, the Teenieping characters become more colorful and more beautiful, which easily captures children’s attention.
Interestingly, it’s not only kids who like them. Recently more adult collectors have started collecting Teenieping toys as well.
My child plays with these toys almost every day, creating different pretend-play stories. Even when not playing, my child often likes to carry one of the toys around, almost like a small companion.
Where to Find Teenieping Toys
These days it’s actually quite easy to find Teenieping toys at large supermarkets or toy stores in Korea.
However, if you want to see more unique items, you can also visit the Teenieping store in Seongsu, where you can find more detailed toys and special products that are harder to see elsewhere.
