If you have kids in Korea, you probably know how exciting it is when a new McDonald’s Happy Meal toy series comes out. Recently, we picked up the 2026 Ocean Animal Happy Meal toys, and they were honestly much cuter than I expected.
Ocean Animal Happy Meal Toys in Korea (2026)
This series features different sea creatures designed in a playful and friendly style. Each toy has small interactive elements that encourage kids to move, push, or explore the parts, which helps keep them engaged longer than basic figurines.
One thing I personally like about Korean Happy Meal toys is that they are easy to mix with other toys at home. Even though they are fast-food toys, they don’t feel disposable. Kids can naturally include them in their existing play worlds.
Playing with Playmobil at Home
At our house, we often combine Happy Meal toys with Playmobil sets and other figures. Ocean animals work especially well with pretend play environments because kids can create stories — underwater adventures, rescue missions, or animal exploration games.

Price and Value in Korea
In Korea, a Happy Meal typically costs about the same as a regular kids’ meal, so the toy is essentially included. Given the quality and design, it often feels more like a small bonus toy rather than a disposable freebie.
For reference, we bought three Happy Meal sets, and the total came to around 15,000 KRW, which is roughly 5,000 KRW (about $3–4 USD) per set. Since each meal includes both food and a toy, the overall value feels quite reasonable compared to buying small toy figures separately. For many parents, it’s an easy way to give kids a fun surprise without spending much, especially when new toy series are released.
Are They Worth It?
From a parent’s perspective, these ocean animal toys are worth getting if your child enjoys small figures or pretend play. They’re cute, durable enough for regular play, and easy to combine with toys you already own at home.
Most importantly, they create a little moment of excitement — which, as many parents know, can make an ordinary meal feel special for kids.
