캐치! 티니핑(Catch! Teenieping) is one of the most popular animated series among preschool-aged children in Korea right now.
The show features small magical fairy characters called “Teeniepings,” each with a unique personality and theme. Over the past few years, the franchise has expanded beyond the TV series into dolls, stationery, themed merchandise, and large-scale pop-up stores.
For many young girls in Korea, Teenieping isn’t just a cartoon — it’s a full character universe they collect, dress up, and interact with in real life.
The Teenieping Seongsu: Is It Worth Visiting with Kids?
If you’re with a preschool-aged girl in Korea right now, you’ve probably heard of Catch! Teenieping.
Teenieping is currently one of the most popular character franchises among young children in Korea. From dolls and stationery to themed merchandise and pop-up stores, it has become a huge trend.
Recently, we visited The Teenieping store in Seongsu, one of Seoul’s trendiest neighborhoods.

📍 Location & How to Get There
The Teenieping store is located in Seongsu, Seoul, an area known for pop-ups and character collaboration spaces.

- Nearest subway station: Seongsu Station
- Easy access by public transportation
- Currently operating normally
There is no entrance fee, and at the moment, no reservation is required, which makes it easy to visit casually.
🕒 Reservation Update
Until recently, it was actually quite difficult to visit The Teenieping Seongsu store because reservations were fully booked for weeks.
However, things have changed.
At the moment, visitors can enter freely without a reservation, making it much easier to plan a casual visit — especially if you’re already in the Seongsu area.
If you were previously discouraged by sold-out time slots, now might be the perfect time to go.
🎀 What Can You Do Inside?
The store is beautifully decorated and very child-friendly.
Even if your child doesn’t fully know Teenieping, the colorful interior and themed displays are exciting enough to capture attention.
Inside, you can:
- Browse dolls and character merchandise
- Shop for stationery and accessories
- Create and customize your own “My Ping” doll
In our case, we already had a My Ping doll at home, so we only purchased new outfits. However, you can buy a doll at the store and decorate it on the spot.
🎀 Create Your Own “My Ping” at The Teenieping Seongsu
Until recently, Teenieping mainly introduced new official characters each season. But now, the brand has launched something more interactive — “My Ping.”
Instead of just buying an existing character, children can now create their own customized Teenieping.
At The Teenieping Seongsu store, you can:
- Design your own My Ping
- Choose the skin tone
- Select the hairstyle
- Pick different costumes and accessories
If you want to purchase one, you simply order through a kiosk inside the store. After selecting your preferred skin color, hair style, and costume, your customized My Ping is prepared and handed to you on the spot.
The store even includes a dedicated photo zone with props and display areas where children can take pictures with their newly created doll.
It turns the visit from simple shopping into an experience — something that feels more special than just buying a ready-made character.
Creating a fully customized My Ping doll — from choosing the body color and hairstyle to selecting outfits and accessories — appears to start at around $40 to $50, depending on the options you choose. The final price can increase based on additional costume pieces or special design elements, so it’s worth checking the kiosk carefully before completing your order.
We already had a My Ping doll at home, so we only purchased new outfits this time. But for first-time visitors, creating one from scratch could be the highlight of the visit.

💰 Is It Expensive?
Personally, I wouldn’t say it’s cheap.
Character merchandise in Korea is generally not low-priced, and Teenieping products are no exception.
That said:
- The quality is fairly good
- The designs are detailed
- The experience feels thoughtfully designed
If your child truly loves Teenieping, the excitement alone might justify the price.
👧 Who Should Visit?
I would especially recommend visiting if:
- You are a parent of a preschool-aged girl
- Your child is a Teenieping fan
- You’re already exploring Seongsu
Even if your child isn’t deeply into Teenieping, the store itself is cute and fun to browse. The stationery and dolls are charming enough that you might end up picking up a small gift.

Final Thoughts
Is it a must-visit? Not necessarily.
But for a Teenieping-loving child, it can definitely be a memorable experience.
Seeing how happy my child was made the visit worthwhile — even if we only bought a small item.
